Holiday Vox Box 2012 Reveal and Review

This is my very first Vox Box since becoming an Influester.

I think I was way more excited than I should have been when I got my email that said I was getting one.

What I love about getting these boxes, is that I had no idea what was going to be in.

I felt like a kid in an candy store when it arrived in the mail and I tore it open to reveal what was inside.

Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal

$1.79/cup

I have to be honest and confess that I do not like walnuts. So, I heated this up and fed it to my husband (who is sick with the flu).  He nom'ed it down and said it was yummy.  He said it felt really good to his sore throat and it hit the spot.

NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine

2.49

I like it.  It provides just enough shine to be noticeable but doesn't give that "Hey look at me!" look.  I love the subtle color.  It does not feel thick, heavy, or cakey on my lips. I love that it contains vitamin E to moisture my lips while I am wearing it.  You can purchase this product in 10 shades.

Kiss Nail Dress

$6.99

I really like the idea of these things and they were so easy to use.  I will admit though, that this particular design is not one I would have picked out.  They have many different styles (you can see them on their website).  You can put these on your fingernails or toenails.

They are really just as easy as pull and stick.  You select the correct size for the nail you want, peel if off the plastic insert, stick on the nail, and trim.  Too easy.  The package came with enough nail stickers for both fingernails and toenails and a nail file.

EBOOST

$28.00 for a box of 20 effervescent powders, $39.00 for box of 30 effervescent powders, $39.00 for box of 12 shots

"EBOOST will boost your mood, focus, and immunity with natural ingredients and no crash. As a shot or an easy-to-mix powder and in four flavors, you'll feel great whether you choose Orange, Pink, Lemonade, Acai Pomegranate, or Super Berry.  And with all the hustle and bustle of your holidays, you'll certainly needs a boost!"-Vox Box insert.

I got the Acai Pomegranate. You simply open the package and pour it into a glass of water and let is fizz until dissolved.

It did not have an overbearing taste. I could tell the flavoring was in the water, but it wasn't a strong taste.  To be honest, I think its a tad expensive.  Of course, most "healthy" products tend to be expensive.  A plus side is that if you spend at $30.00, you get free shipping. You can read all about the product on their website. Jillian Michals is their celebrity face.

Montagne Jeunesse Face Mask

under $2.00
I have super uber sensitive skin and just about anything causes it to break out like a pepperoni pizza, so I was too afraid to try it.  I gave it to the bestie to try. You can read all about it on their website.

Goody QuickStyle Brush

$11.99

When I first pulled this brush out of the box, my first thought was, "What the crap is that?"  Well, it only happens to be the best hair brush I have ever used.

I LOVE it.

Here is what their website says:

Absorbent microfiber bristles remove 30% of water for faster styling
Antimicrobial microfiber keeps the brush fresh
Side Vents for maximum air flow
Lightweight design to reduce hand fatigue while drying
Ergonomic handle is textured for extra grip

I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.
